Our Manuka Honey has been gathered on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula and it is produced with the happiness of the bees in mind. We call that ethical beekeeping practice. As a rule, our bees overwinter on their own honey stores and they only get sugar if the honey flow starts too late so that they run out of honey. We do not overstock our bee sites and the honey gets collected into clean, white virgin honey comb frames that have never been used in the brood chamber. This guarantees an exceptionally pure taste for which our honey is locally famous.
This honey has an activity of MG 185, which equals a UMF of 8.1
